United legend, Roy Keane delivered another withering verdict of Louis van Gaal 's Manchester United squad by claiming the players are 'robotic' and not good enough to play for the club.
Keane, a veteran of seven Premier League title-winning campaigns and an instrumental figure in Sir Alex Ferguson 's 1994 double and 1999 Treble-winning teams, attacked the lack of leadership in the current squad following The Reds' Champions League group stage elimination in Wolfsburg.
"Disaster for them, considering the goals they gave away," Keane said on ITV.
"Man United have a lot of good players, there's no getting away from that, I just don't think they're good enough for Man United, I really don't. I think they lack real quality.
"You look at the recruitment, they've thrown decent money at it, no special players at the moment. When you think of Man United you always associate them with one or two special players who can produce. They seem to be lacking a few characters, a few leaders.
