El Clasico - Iniesta, Suarez and Neymar crush pathetic Madrid, with Messi coming on to join the fun

FT: Real Madrid 0 v 4 Barcelona
                                                                      (Suarez, Neymar, Iniesta, Suarez)
Iniesta summed it up this way: "We only wanted to be ourselves and we have done that. We neutralised Madrid".
It proved to be one of the great Clasico pastings of recent times, Madrid were as flat and lumpen as Barca were smart and snappy. Some great goals, and wonderful movement from Suarez and Neymar. The great Iniesta also getting in on the act - and all this with Messi watching most of it from the bench! This is Barcelona's biggest Clasico win at the Bernabeu since beating Real Madrid 6-2 in May 2009.

The  victory gave Barcelona a six-point lead in the Spanish league standings, and halted Madrid’s 22-game unbeaten streak at home in the league. More pixs after the cut.

The day's proceedings began at Vicarage road, a difficult place to come by, with Watford hosting Manchester United who were missing Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney, leaving Memphis Depay to deliver up front, and the Netherlands international did so with aplomb, volleying home United's opener from Ander Herrera's cross.

Sevilla 1-3 Manchester City

By the time Manchester United came out blinking from a stressful, wearying and occasionally mutinous night Wayne Rooney had moved alongside Denis Law as the second highest scorer in the club’s history.
